We cultivate 30 acres of river bottom soil. We manage our fields organically mixing traditional age old practices with modern day appropriate technology.
Our farming system includes crop rotations, applying natural fertilizers
and soil building compost, hand and mechanical cultivation, and the use
of beneficial insects to control pests.
Sweet Leaf Cafe is our mobile restaurant and juice bar. We have been participating in premiere music festivals throughout California and the Pacific Northwest for ten years.
Our menu offers a wide variety of choices appealing to people of all
ages. We serve vegetarian entrees, fresh salads, fruit smoothies, fresh
juices, and seasonal specials such as corn on the cob and fresh watermelon.
Sweet Leaf is unique in many ways. The majority of the food used in our booth comes from our own farm. Sweet Leaf Organic Farm.
Our booth contains a portable solar powered electric station. Our panels
provide electricity for our lights, juicers and blenders. Having electricity
on site enables us to provide our customers with the freshest juices,
shakes and fruit smoothies possible. At the same time, we are able to
demonstrate to the public a functional alternative energy resource.
Sweet Leaf Cafe has operated at events up and down the west coast attended by20,000 to 270,000people a day. We have successfully handled the high volume of sales at all of these events.
